SSS Dairy Tech consultancy, a new firm set up by S.Somasundaram, Who is a Dairy Technologist from NDRI, Bangalore and an MBA post graduate with an objective to serve the Dairy units by providing Technical Consultancy Services. The consultant has more than 36 years of experience in dairy industry. The consultant has extensively travelled in India for attending dairy and food seminars, Trade Fairs, also visited many dairies and engineering companies

Mr.S.Somasundaram has worked in Aavin, a co-operative dairy in Tamilnadu as plant head of different functional area for about 28 years, and also worked in Heritage Foods India Ltd as a Head of Plant in Tamilnadu, also worked as a CEO in Vijay Dairy & Fam Products Pvt Ltd, Trichy, a dairy of 2.0 lakh lit/day capacity with powder unit. Well experienced in many technical project preparations for milk products and selection of machineries. Preparation and implementation of SOPs for each activity in production, quality and maintenance. Preparation of ISO 22000,2005 requirements on design, HACCP and obtaining FSMS certification. Experienced in Structural requirements in SAP accounting for milk and milk products

Dairy Technologist with over 38 years of experience in Dairy operations, project management, turnkey project consultancy, and product development, handling small to large scale milk and milk products processing units (2000 – 500,00 liters/day).

• Diploma in Dairy technology from N.D.R.I Bangalore,
• Master of Busniness Administration from Madurai Kamaraj University
• M A in Economics from Madurai Kamaraj University

Experience

Worked in small and large scale milk processing and by - products manufacturing units with milk handling capacity up to 2,00,000lits/ per day.Worked with “Aavin “ a Cooperative Dairy in various roles and as a plant head for 28 years of a 50000lit/day plant. Served as a Plant Head wirh M/S Heritage Foods India Ltd, a professionally managed Dairy having branches all over India. Served as a CEO for M/S Vijay Dairy & Farm Products Pvt Ltd, Trichy, a plant of 2.0 lakh lit/dy capacity and selling in entire Tamilnadu. Technical advisor for white field Dairy, Pollachi handling 50000 lits/day.
